"What are these - strawberries for ants?!" - Derek Zoolander
Good morning,

There are several reasons why your plants will grow strawberries that are smaller than normal. Let’s dig in to figure out what’s causing this in your garden and how to help your berries grow bigger!

BRANCHING OUT

The good news is, container gardening can be quicker to setup and you won’t have to weed as much throughout the season. If you’re new to growing tomato plants, you may be wondering if you should provide them with support. Tomato plants do benefit in multiple ways from being structurally supported. Here are 3 different ways that you can give them the support they need.

DAILY DOSE OF DIRT
As you care for your garden, don’t forget to check your plants for unwanted pests. Dealing with them early can prevent a huge headache later!
MORE TO GROW ON
Potatoes need heat to grow but they can never be exposed to direct sunlight. Getting the depth of planting wrong can be catastrophic leaving you with green potatoes that have a strong bitter taste due to toxic chemicals, mainly Solanine. The reason for this is sunlight exposure.
It’s not unusual for a few cucumbers to be lost each harvest, but if you’re consistently growing bitter tasting cucumbers, there’s a few things to know to prevent the discoloration that causes the bitter taste from yellow cucumbers.
